Tell Senator Gardner to oppose anti-endangered species riders on the NDAA!

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the must-pass bill that funds our military, includes multiple riders that will hurt our wildlife.  And one of those riders will prohibit listing the Greater sage-grouse for 10 years. The grouse’s population has already declined by 97% when compared to historic levels, so a 10-year delay could be an extinction sentence.

Call Senator Gardner right now at 844-652-3138 or by entering your information on this page and tell him to oppose all riders that undermine the Endangered Species Act on the NDAA!

You can use the script below to help during your call:

I’m calling to ask Senator Gardner to oppose all policy riders on the NDAA.  I am especially concerned about the riders in this bill that would prohibit listing of our imperiled Colorado wildlife: the Greater sage-grouse and the Lesser prairie-chicken. Please vote against any riders that would undermine the Endangered Species Act and harm our wildlife in Colorado. Thank you for your time.”
